about

I went through a very difficult year of feeling like my worldly purpose kept being taken away from me by things outside of my control. I couldn’t find love, health, or income in the usual places. I had hardly much time to acclimate, and I was experiencing my own sort of spiritual poverty. I was forced to rethink my rejections and appreciate what I do have. What purpose was I regarding more greatly? I wrote this sometime after being broken up with by ex-girlfriend. During the breakup, there were a lot of themes of purpose, and and following what God wanted, and where that purpose and meaningful nature somehow fit within the grand design of everything else. God’s purpose is providence, but on another level, feeling useful and important to the larger idea feels the same way as well. This is a reflection, that once after being torn apart from those fundamental things we seek to find happiness, maybe we will once again find that providence when we are repurposed for something greater than ourselves -- a sort of spiritual reincarnation.
